Who we are to whom

For your business's details, we are the data controller. Your name, email, phone and payment details are held so we can run your account and bill you.

For your customers' details, you are the controller and we are your processor. You put a customer's name, number, email and quote into Chase My Quote so that we can send follow-ups on your instruction. We act only on your instruction and this policy; we do not use your customers' details for anything else, and we never sell them.

What we hold

Your business details, sign-in email, password (as a one-way hash), and the people you add to your team.
Your customers' names, contact details, the job and the price on each quote, the messages sent and the answers given.
Pictures you upload: your logo, accreditation logos, photos.
Counts of messages, readings and credits, for your figures and our bill.

Who else sees it

Amazon Web Services (London region) stores everything and sends email.
A text provider sends texts to your customers' numbers.
Anthropic reads dropped-in quotes to fill the boxes. Only the quote document is sent, and only for that purpose.
Stripe takes payments. We never see your card number.
A customer's answer page shows them only the business name, the job and the price.

How long

While your account is open. Customer details on finished quotes are removed twelve months after the quote closes. Close your account in Settings and everything is deleted.

Your customers' rights

Every text and email carries a stop link, honoured at once and for good. A customer who asks you about their data can be answered from the quote's own page; contact us if you need our help.

Cookies

The website sets no tracking cookies. The app keeps your sign-in on your own device. Our visit counter records plain totals per page and per advert and nothing about you.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, at support@chasemyquote.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with our answer.
