Quote follow-up text template for accountants and bookkeepers
Three texts, one per stage, written for accountants and bookkeepers. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the reference.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Mill Lane Accounts. Still considering moving your accounts to us (£1,200 a year)? We can take care of the switch: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Mill Lane Accounts again. Shall we go ahead with the year-end accounts and tax return? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Mill Lane Accounts about the year-end accounts and tax return. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The reference is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For accountants and bookkeepers in particular
- "We take care of the switch" is the whole objection, answered.
- Chase before the deadline season, not during it.
Example quote
Year-end accounts and tax return, limited company, £1,200. The fee proposal went out in January and the prospect stayed with their old accountant out of habit.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for accountants and bookkeepers or start free.
