Quote follow-up text template for caterers
Three texts, one per stage, written for caterers. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the event date.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Field & Feast. Still want the hog roast for 80 on 12 June (£1,150)? Happy to hold the date: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Field & Feast again. Shall we go ahead with the hog roast for 80 guests? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Field & Feast about the hog roast for 80 guests. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The event date is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For caterers in particular
- Offer to hold the date for a week. It turns silence into a decision.
- Chase well before the event; a caterer booked late is a caterer paid late.
Example quote
Hog roast for 80 guests, £1,150. The menu went out, they said it looked lovely, and the booking never came.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for caterers or start free.
