Quote follow-up text template for electricians
Three texts, one per stage, written for electricians. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the job address.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Reed Electrical here. Still want the consumer unit and EICR done at 14 Mill Lane (£620)? Book in: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Reed Electrical again. Shall we go ahead with the consumer unit replacement and eicr? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Reed Electrical about the consumer unit replacement and eicr. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The job address is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For electricians in particular
- For landlord certificates, chase with the legal deadline in the wording if there is one.
- Put the certificate name in the message; "EICR" is what the landlord searched for.
Example quote
Consumer unit replacement and EICR, £620. You quoted the rewire, they said "lovely", and the job went to someone else.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for electricians or start free.
