Quote follow-up text template for events, catering and hire
Three texts, one per stage, written for events, catering and hire. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the event date.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Field & Feast. Still thinking about the marquee for 12 June (£860)? The date is still free: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Field & Feast again. Shall we go ahead with the marquee hire with flooring? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Field & Feast about the marquee hire with flooring. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The event date is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For events, catering and hire in particular
- Say the date is still free. That is the only thing an events customer fears losing.
- A yes should ask for the deposit; that is what secures the date.
Example quote
Marquee hire with flooring, £860. They loved the quote for the wedding. Then stopped replying.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for events, catering and hire or start free.
