Quote follow-up text template for garages and MOT centres
Three texts, one per stage, written for garages and MOT centres. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the registration.
Day 2
Hi Sam, it's Smith's Garage. Are you still thinking about the front brake pads and discs on your Golf at £289? Tap to let us know: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Smith's Garage again. Shall we go ahead with the front brake pads and discs on a golf? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Smith's Garage about the front brake pads and discs on a golf. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The registration is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For garages and MOT centres in particular
- Chase the advisory work from the MOT as well as the big jobs: it is the easiest money a garage leaves on the table.
- Put the registration in the message. Customers remember the car, not the quote number.
Example quote
Front brake pads and discs on a Golf, £289. The customer said "I'll think about it" and never rang back.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for garages and MOT centres or start free.
