Quote follow-up text template for IT support companies
Three texts, one per stage, written for IT support companies. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the reference.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Mill Lane IT. Any thoughts on the support proposal (ref Q-1042, £540 a month)? Happy to walk your director through it: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Mill Lane IT again. Shall we go ahead with the managed it support? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Mill Lane IT about the managed it support. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The reference is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For IT support companies in particular
- Offer to present to the decision-maker; that is what the office manager needs from you.
- Chase monthly proposals monthly: a pause-until-the-renewal is exactly right.
Example quote
Managed IT support, 12 users, £540. The support contract proposal went to the office manager, who passed it up, where it stopped.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for IT support companies or start free.
