Quote follow-up text template for MOT test centres
Three texts, one per stage, written for MOT test centres. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the registration.
Day 2
Hi Sam, it's Smith's MOT Centre. Your Focus still needs the two tyres and a bulb (£198) before the free retest. Shall we book it in? (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Smith's MOT Centre again. Shall we go ahead with the mot retest work: two tyres and a bulb? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Smith's MOT Centre about the mot retest work: two tyres and a bulb. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The registration is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For MOT test centres in particular
- Chase failed-MOT quotes on day 2 and day 5, not day 10: the free retest clock is running.
- Say "free retest" in the message. It is the thing the customer is about to lose.
Example quote
MOT retest work: two tyres and a bulb, £198. The car failed, you quoted the repair, and the customer took it away "to think".
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for MOT test centres or start free.
