Quote follow-up text template for painters and decorators
Three texts, one per stage, written for painters and decorators. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the job address.
Day 2
Hi Sam, it's Pat the decorator. Still want the hall, stairs and landing done (£780)? I have dates next month: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Pat the decorator again. Shall we go ahead with the hall? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Pat the decorator about the hall. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The job address is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For painters and decorators in particular
- Offer dates in the follow-up. Decorating customers decide when they can picture the week.
- Chase small jobs too: a hallway becomes a whole house.
Example quote
Hall, stairs and landing, two coats, £780. You quoted the hallway, they wanted to pick colours first, and that took a year.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for painters and decorators or start free.
