Quote follow-up text template for photographers
Three texts, one per stage, written for photographers. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the event date.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Lucy Hart Photography. Still thinking about 12 June? I'd love to shoot it, and the date is free: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Lucy Hart Photography again. Shall we go ahead with the wedding photography? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Lucy Hart Photography about the wedding photography. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The event date is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For photographers in particular
- Keep it warm and short; photographers are bought on personality.
- Leave the price out of the text; it is on the quote page.
Example quote
Wedding photography, full day, £1,800. The quote went out with the gallery link and the enquiry just faded.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for photographers or start free.
