Quote follow-up text template for web designers and agencies
Three texts, one per stage, written for web designers and agencies. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the reference.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Mill Lane Studio. Any thoughts on the website proposal (ref Q-1042)? Happy to jump on a call: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Mill Lane Studio again. Shall we go ahead with the website redesign? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Mill Lane Studio about the website redesign. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The reference is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text for a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For web designers and agencies in particular
- Ask for a call rather than a decision. Agencies win on the second conversation.
- Follow up on a Tuesday morning; Monday's inbox is a wall.
Example quote
Website redesign, eight pages, £2,400. The proposal landed well. Then silence.
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for web designers and agencies or start free.
