Quote follow-up text template for window and door fitters
Three texts, one per stage, written for window and door fitters. Each fits one 160-character text with a real link. Swap in your name, the job and the job address.
Day 2
Hi Sam, Clearview Windows. Still thinking about the six windows and front door at 14 Mill Lane? Our price (£5,400) is fixed for 60 days: (link)
Day 5
Hi Sam, Clearview Windows again. Shall we go ahead with the six windows and a front door? Book in or ask for a call: (link)
Day 10 (or send this one by email only)
Hi Sam, last message from Clearview Windows about the six windows and a front door. Still want it? (link)
Why this wording
- Who you are in the first five words. A text from an unknown business name is deleted.
- The job address is in it, because that is what the customer remembers. Not a quote number.
- The price is in the day-2 text, or left for the page on a job this size; it is on the page the link opens either way.
- One question. A link that answers with a tap.
For window and door fitters in particular
- Tell them how long the price holds. The national firms use pressure; you can use certainty.
- Follow up without the discount. A price that drops when chased looks padded.
Example quote
Six windows and a front door, uPVC, £5,400. The quote was fine; the customer just wanted to "see what the big firms said".
Chase My Quote sends these in your name on day 2, day 5 and day 10, fills the fields in, shortens a long job line rather than send two texts, and stops when the customer answers. See it for window and door fitters or start free.
