What is a good quote conversion rate?
It depends on the trade, but the number that matters is yours before and after you start following up. Most firms see it move.
Published figures vary wildly and most come from the people selling something. A garage converting a third of its estimates, a builder winning one in four, a photographer booking one enquiry in ten: all normal.
The useful comparison is you against you. Count quotes sent and quotes won for a month with no follow-up, then for a month with the day 2, day 5, day 10 routine. The difference is what following up is worth to you, in pounds.
Chase My Quote shows the figure as "won after a chase": quotes marked won that had at least one follow-up sent. Worded carefully, because a chase does not take all the credit.
