What to say when a customer does not respond to a quote
Say who you are, name the job and the price, ask one question, and give them a way to answer with a tap. Forty words at most.
The worst follow-ups are about you: "just checking in", "following up on my email", "did you get a chance". The good ones are about their decision: "Are you still thinking about the brake pads on the Golf at £289?"
Give them an excuse for the silence. "Wanted to check it reached you" lets a customer who forgot reply without feeling told off.
And make answering easy. "Let me know" asks them to compose something. "Yes, book me in" and "Call me" ask them to tap.
